She has written professionally and edited and created content for over ten years. Her published non-fiction can be found in print and online in magazines, peer-reviewed journals and various websites.

Currently, she is a Senior Content Writer for Drugwatch.com, an Orlando-based consumer advocacy website. At Drugwatch.com, she writes various pieces of high quality and thoroughly researched content for the main website, writes guest blogs and develops relationships with industry experts. She writes about BigPharma, the FDA, health and the law. She hosts the Drugwatch Podcast where she talks to health experts as well as patients who suffered drug or medical device side effects that impacted their lives.

But, her first love is fiction. She is currently writing multiple novellas and novels in the romance, paranormal, horror and fantasy genres for eventual publication.

Michelle acquired a B.A. in English with a focus on Technical Communications at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida. Her early career began in writing  for national real estate trade publications. While working for these magazines, she built a strong foundation in personal and company marketing and attended and presented corporate products in several expos and trade shows as well as managed advertising accounts.

Her diverse background also includes several years of experience writing legal documents for local law firms as a legal assistant, where she specialized in personal injury demand letters and the management of several case files.

While acquiring her degree, she participated in many group writing projects of various levels of technical nature; including being on the editorial team for a Technical Writer’s Survival Guide, being a team writer for an operations manual for the University Writing Center and creating a 75 page report on the effectiveness of several collaborative technologies with graduate students in Limerick, Ireland.

Michelle is a member of the Florida Writers Association and a patron of Writer’s Atelier in Winter Park, FL.

She is a passionate writer who truly loves her craft. With her non-fiction, she hopes to provide content that reaches people and makes a difference. With her fiction, she writes the stories she loves to read.
